It all starts in a fantasy world of magic and mystery..
In the city of Felicia a group of mage scholars whom have dedicated themselves to gathering knowledge of everything, found a fossilized bone of a beast they had never seen before. after a few months of scripture and research, they were soon almost able to summon one of these beasts alive.
But one of the mage scholars had other plans on his mind and stole the scriptures in the dead of night and brought them to the pit of summoning the next day. He gathered his magic and activated the summoning scrolls over the pit.
But what appeared was something even the scholar couldn't have imagined, the fossilized bone was that of a child and what was summoned what the father... Armed and Dangerous...
This sketch depicts the moment of fear when the scholar realizes he is in deep poop.

You should resubmit just the pencils, because the guidelines say digital art isn't allowed. The pencils are just as effective!

There was a news story in the UK last week about a 3 year old attacking another 3 year old with a tyre iron. Sad state of affairs, but the inspiration for this.

It probably should be just one submission per person per month, just because I think you submit your best work, something you really think shows off your abilities and really takes on the monthly theme. But I don't know if there are any rules against multiple submissions. I mean, really it's not like if you submit four drawings that the judges will give you First, Second, Third and Fourth place.

Also, Question-Mark Man... Your sketch is amazing! Love your work.

my concept goes on some what like this....VINASHIKA ( in sanskrit VINASH means destruction),the female sea monster lives deep in arabian sea ....she is a female torso with giant octopus arms.she is the fear of the sea in which evil resides since many centuries .....and nothing can stop her from causing havoc and destruction....she is "ARMED AND DANGEROUS " for any living or dead soul in that sea...

well i was trying to make it look like cartoon, but i'm not that good. :/
well the history is that the tow brother's were playing with the wrong toy.
i use normal paper bond and a mechanical pencil, and my camara for the pichure. i don't have scanner :(

By the way, can i do my sketch's on my pc for next's competition's, it look very messy when i took the pichure.

it's gotta be old school,bro. :) you can use any utensil to mark a flat surface but you can't create anything digitally. :P

This is my final entry for the great contest.
For this contest I have thought about something great and powerful, Annibale and his war elephants has come to my mind. I have thrown down this way some idea and this elephant fantasy has come out endowed with two enormous fangs and of two smaller fangs. The elephant is driven from three giant trolls. Greetings my fellow drawers, this is a great theme and I've seen a lot of wonderful art. This is my post, this creature is armed by parts, armed with weapons and armed with lot of arms, very dangerous, has no feelings, like Doomsday (Superman's killer) :confused:. I think it would be cool if it would be animated in stop motion like the old movies where monsters were made of clay, like "Jason & the Argonauts" or "Clash of the Titans" ho, ho! Well maybe you don't know them =). Didn't had much time to build a place for it or complete some other guns =(. Comments welcome!

Im so ashamed to say that i came to know of this site just about today morning ...cant belive that i really let something like this skip under my nose.
I thank my friends to have told me about this wonderland...such a rush of sheer talent inside...its an honour to be here with you all..!!

My Topic:

I was so fortunate to have a scary 'sleepless' childhood with stories of wandering ghosts and living gods to keep me awake all night!!
Among some of those living entities were 'The blind snake charmer and his daughter'.

..such a bizzaire story it was about the father and daughter...

The father lost his precious eyes .
the king cobra took them away for enslaving them...but some said that it was the daughter whom the snakes were really afraid of...

she had a magic of her own.. which kept the most venoumous ones as her faithful pets...
and she was even heard of using her faithful pets to kill the ones she hated the most...

even the bravest were afraid of the father and the daughter...
they were 'armed and dangerous'...with some very unique weapons.



ps.
the story says that the father went mad because of the curse of the snakes for making them do all the evil...none saw him ever after...

and then one day they saw the daughter asleep..all in blue...
for the snakes they say
...took her soul away!!!

Hope Im not too late for this one.........heres my take on the theme with a little bit of "red" sprinkled on it......The piece is supposed to resemble the old soviet propaganda posters, with a sexy female commisar urging the troops forward......the text is russian for "Forward Comrades!!"........err at least i hope i just did a online translation quickly...:p c&c are very welcome..

Sounds great What if somebody like Martees photos or Photoahead or somebody like that takes your picture and you want to submit it. If we buy the picture from them are they OK with us using it for this?
