How can I make my TomTom warn me about speed cameras

Ive just bought one and I thought that I would be alerted to the presence of all traffic cameras on my way.Presumably this is not the case? So I have now realised that I need to download POI alerts from internet. Do I have to buy these or can I get these for free from somewhere?
