Hey everyone,
Just wondering if anyone else thinks we should have a techniques and critique section in the forums where people can ask for advice about sketching and stuff. It might also draw a lot of people in here too. Any takers on this?

Great Question Man! and would like to be part of this
I 100% agree wit u cause bigtime, smallfry, beginner or advanced we could all improve in some aspect or another wether it be technigue or just using different mediums and materials, and critiques r a must for any artist I believe
I myself am focused on improving my own technique from just basic sketching to anatomy, outlining, shading and lighting, clothing, ect. for my own character art and like gathering advice and opinions on my stuff good or bad cause it all leads to better results in the end
I am definately a taker on this and believe it will bring more variety and diversity of ppl seeking for answers or with answers for others......:D

I love the idea of having some critique going on here (good and bad its all help). I am primarily a painter so for me to have honest feedback on my sketching and on others work could only help.

I think it is a great idea. I am always looking for feedback on my work. And so many people have so many unique styles, I would love to see all of it come together to help people become better artists.

alright folks. i guess i'll post a few up. these aren't done yet, but i'm not sure if i'll be going back to them. i haven't really drawn anything in a few years. I don't have a scanner so i took pictures with my cell. these pieces are the first near to complete pieces i've done in a long time and they were roughs for what could have been something greater or final...

Cool stuff dude, It would be nice to see you push your rendering/values/shading to really bring out the concepts more though. I like your concepts!

Ill post some stuff soon too...

Hey man really like these and they make great characters that you should do more to and I agree with Lexalotacus that the shades values and render will really bring these guys out which is what I am working on myself with my own character art but your right about not doing something for awhile is tough to get back into the groove but you have skill man use it and
Finalize these guys! lol if you want to ofcourse
Well heres mine to to get some crits and feedback as well:D
These r just some minatures of random characters I came up with for a project I'm working on
and there just sketched ideas nothing concrete

Nice sketching
1.Hover Jet I guess, like the perspective and values
2.?....This guy looks alot like Pinhead, very nice depth and linework
3.Is he part of a tribe? Very nice muscle flow on this guy and like the cracks in the head and overall values anatomy and detail
4.Skull, I'm a fan of skulls for some reason and I like the shading technique you used, crosshatching I think? and nice study work
Really nice, keep them coming
I will be posting some more stuff soon:D
